I really enjoy with working with other people. I enjoy helping patients, finding more about their lives and family, and working with their them to get better. I also love working within my team and the wider team (such as other services and wards), I like sharing ideas with others, I also ask for opinions and advice from others, I feel that no matter what level you are each person helps to care for patients, which i don’t think you would find in any other job.

Some people are great to work with, and some people are difficult – but that’s not specific to mental health, that’s just real life. It’s no different to being at school really!

It’s the best thing about the job to be honest. We all have to learn how to work as a team, and it serves as a source of support and advice too.
